Moderators
As you might assume, we won't need many to start out as the forums aren't full, but as we grow we hope to expand. Moderators moderate the forums and make sure that everyone is following the rules, which means the moderators will need to set and example. If you are interested please email us at wearesimstaff@gmail.com with the following:
-Why you want to be a mod
-What makes you a good mod
-Any experience [not necessary]
-Times that you're available to be on the forums and the time zone those are in
More positions may be available at a later time.
** = All the needed positions are currently filled however we are still accepting applications for future use, getting an application in ahead of time always looks better then way late and we will look over forms as they come in so get yours in soon!
The following positions are available for the Blabbity News Crew.
Featured Writers
Featured writers sign up for a specific topic to write an article for week after week. They are expected to hand in their articles on time unles they have discussed a reason as to why they can't write one week with Bologna. While featured writers are only for a specific section, they may write for other sections that do not have a designated writer as well, they just aren't expected to. The following are the pages writers are needed for:
News
Entertainment
Business and Economics
Simiscope
Fashion
Freelance Writers
Freelance writers are not expected to turn in weekly articles. Freelance writers will just write an article on anything they choose and send it in. It's sort of a no strings attached way of writing for the Blabbity. We will only take so many freelance writers as we are in stronger need of dependable featured writers. Featured Writers are also more likely to receive top story or featured story awards.
Editors
Editors simply edit articles written by Featured Writers. They need to be able to spell correctly and use proper grammer and puncuation.
Researchers
Researchers simply find out what the readers are interested in as well as search for news and exciting Sims 2 finds. All they need to do is report what they find to a writer. Researchers just need to be able to dig up information from week to week.
